DRESS CODE

We want to ensure that our dancers are comfortable in what they wear to class. Form-fitting clothing best allows us to assist your child in being the best dancer they can be, and we want to provide the best possible instruction.

 

All students will need hair secured away from face. 

The showing of belly skin is not permitted in ANY class.

 

Creative Movement/ My Grown Up and Me  

Any comfortable active wear.   Bare Feet or socks.

Ballet

Leotard (black preferred) and classic pink tight. Classic pink ballet slippers.

Optional ballet skirt.

 

Tap

Any form fitting active wear. Black tap shoes.

 

Jazz,

Leotard (black preferred), tan jazz boot or pink ballet slipper.

Optional athletic pants/shorts/skirt

 

Hip Hop

Any FORM FITTING active wear.  

Jazz boot or CLEAN sneakers. 

 

Boys

Black dance pants/shorts, fitted t-shirt, black dance shoes

 

Dress code is strictly enforced. 

Dancers that are not appropriately dressed will be given a warning. On second offence, student will not be permitted to participate in class.

 

Required Purchases:

Students are required to have the appropriate dance shoes and tights.

If your student is having difficulty selecting dance clothes they are comfortable wearing for any reason, please reach out to me directly and we will come to an agreement. ALL dance teachers will be informed of our arrangement to be sure all teachers are on board with the expectations.
